We've now acquired our very own short mat for Social Short Mat bowls over the winter period, putting our wonderful clubhouse to good use between September and April. The ease of use and removal for social events gives our club a fabulous opportunity to connect during the winter.
At 1130pm on Wednesday 21st August, the first woods were bowled - the most important test of any surface. It confirms that the 2 degree incline plays no part, and the bowls roll truly and smoothly !
And how about this ..... even the driver and his partner had a go - and they were brilliant !
